Who I am

Save with Dave is run by David York, an independent Utility Warehouse Partner. I'm responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact me at contact@savewithdave.uk.

This website is not run by Utility Warehouse. If you become a UW customer or partner, Utility Warehouse handles your account information under its own privacy policy: https://uw.co.uk/legal/privacy-policy

What I collect

When you fill in a form on this site, I collect what you give me: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, best time to call, the services you're interested in, any message you write, and your answers to the "Could you save?" quiz.

I also record how you found the site (for example, a QR code on a letter or a social media link), and, if you agree to analytics cookies, basic anonymous information about how the site is used.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a chat, which is what you've asked me to do. You give consent by ticking the box on the form.
• To understand which of my letters and social posts are working, using the source information above.
• To keep the site secure and block spam.

I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you've separately agreed to it.

Who I share it with

I don't sell your information. I only share it with:

• Utility Warehouse, if you decide to go ahead and switch or join, so they can set up your account — and only with your agreement.
• The services that run this website: website hosting and database (Lovable / Supabase), email delivery (Resend) and privacy-friendly analytics. They only process your information on my instructions.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long I keep it

If you don't become a customer or partner, I delete your details within 12 months of your last contact with me. If you do, I keep them for as long as we're working together, and then for up to 6 years where needed for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask me to:

• show you the information I hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your information
• stop using it, or limit how I use it
• give you a copy in a usable format

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@savewithdave.uk. I'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. I'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies

This site only uses cookies that are needed for it to work, plus analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the link in the footer.

Children

This site is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
