How much is the heat pump grant in 2026?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme gives up to £7,500 off an air source or ground source heat pump in England and Wales. Homes heated by oil or LPG can get £9,000 from 21 July 2026 to 31 March 2027. Your installer applies and deducts it from the quote.
Evidence
Air-to-air heat pumps qualify for £2,500. The grant is available to homeowners and small landlords, and you apply through an approved installer rather than directly.
